A remote beach and sea breeze : August 2022

Its been a long time since I have added a post to my blog. Time goes by, work can be tiring – no excuse but here I am.

Wow it’s been a bit warm recently hasn’t it? Here on the east coast of England it’s been no exception. We have headed to the beach a few times.

Horsey Beach, August 2022

As you can see even with recent high temperatures this beach doesn’t see many human visitors. It does, have quite a lot of seals. This is where grey seals come in large numbers to have their pups in the winter.

In the summer months small groups can be found along the shore.

Here is a group being photographed by my other half.

Phew it was a warm day but here we could enjoy a nice breeze coming off the sea and the pleasure of seeing these animals relatively close.

Selina! How lovely to see you again.

You’re right it has been extremely hot lately. Up here our temperatures have dropped and what a relief, but I understand you’re still in the twenties.

It must be a wonderful experience to see the seals, oh, the beach looks amazing just the sort of beach I prefer.
Thank you so much for taking part in this one. 🙂

Hello Sue at long last I have managed to get a post written, albeit a bit brief. I have been keeping my eye on your posts, always good. Temperatures have dropped and we even had a bit of rain mid week but back to blue skies and sunshine today. We have a new project – a YouTube channel showing our walks and general adventures. It has been keeping Tim really busy since he retired earlier this year.

Not at all Sue. Of course he does miss the social side but Tim was a mobile hairdresser and going into peoples houses through covid was really stressful trying to keep everyone safe and himself….He’s kept so busy that he really can’t see how he had time to go to work.
